Few weeks ago, any of my post were no near from the first 100 of Google’s search engine asides from searching ‘muffie shannen’. So I tried to research more on search engine optimization. The best place to go, no other than Jehzlau Concepts.

Then I read from one of his post regarding backlinks (this is as to how I applied Jehzlau tips but on specific phrase).

The last time i checked the ‘Mouse and Keyboard Maintenance‘ on Google, Yahoo, MSN – I didn’t saw any result.  I was in 20+ pages and still no mouse and keyboard maintenance from Muffie Shannen!

But after few hours of applying the SEO backlinks, viola!

Yey, I’m Top Two! You can find it on the first page and second article! I can’t believe that it worked all I did this morning was the following:

  1. Open my Wordpress, Friendster, Blogger Blog Account
  2. Made an article/blog about the topics on my site
  3. Put a backlinks on my site
  4. Eat and sleep
  5. Then after nine hours, check!

So that’s it for now.. Im getting excited about SEO but I need to sleep, Muffie Shannen signing off..

Mouse and Keyboard Maintenance

Friday, July 3rd, 2009

Maintenance of computer peripherals is a must to prolong its life and also to avoid accidents due to negligence of your equipment.

Mouse

If you are still using an old-style mouse with a ball, clean it once a month. Unscrew the retaining ring on the bottom, remove the mouse ball, and use a cotton-tipped swab dipped in tape-cleaning alcohol to clean the rollers inside. Also, make sure that your mouse pad is clean and dust-free and you will prolong its life.

An optical mouse or trackball mouse does not need to be cleaned anywhere near as often. Just dust off the bottom of your mouse and you are ready to use it. Same with mouse ball, make sure that your mouse pad is dust-free.

Keyboard

Do the Keyboard Shake! No, it’s not a new dance craze, but it is the best method of cleaning accumulated gunk from your keyboard. At least once a month, turn your keyboard upside down and shake it vigorously back and forth; prepare to be amazed (or grossed out, especially if the whole family uses your PC).

Find yet another use for your compressed air. Your keyboard can collect debris that can’t be shaken free. If so, using compressed air will likely blow it free. It can also be use on your laptop keyboard, less dangerous than keyboard shake!

For cable management, you can use a spiral wrap on your power cable, monitor cable, keyboard cable and mouse cable. It will minimize the eyesore of cables lying around behind and under your table.
