chocolate hills forever friends

The Chocolate Hills are probably Bohol’s most famous tourist attraction. They look like giant mole hills,The chocolate hills consist of are no less than 1268 hills . They are very uniform in shape and mostly between 30 and 50 meters high. They are covered with grass, which, at the end of the dry season, turns chocolate brown. From this color, the hills derive their name. At other times, the hills are green, and the association may be a bit difficult to make.
Legend has it that the hills came into existence when two giants threw stones and sand at each other in a fight that lasted for days. When they were finally exhausted, they made friends and left the island, but left behind the mess they made. For the more romantically inclined is the tale of Arogo, a young and very strong giant who fell in love with an ordinary mortal girl called Aloya. After she died, the giant Arogo cried bitterly. His tears then turned into hills, as a lasting proof of his grief.

Freaky Friday!

Friday, July 3rd, 2009

I woke up this morning and everything was just fine. I had my morning ritual, went to work, check my email, went to our weekly meeting.. Until I checked my site!

I don’t know if I’m reading it right “My First Laptop”. Uhhh! Wait that’s my post five days ago! Five freaking days! As in one, two, three, four, five!!! Where the hell my other posts go?!

My instinct told me to report it in Marvin’s Web, so I composed an email then click send. But I can’t seem to be calm that I started another letter. Here it goes..

“To Whom It May Concern,

I appeal to your commitment as my primary webhost to please assist me on this matter. Data security is such a vital on my blog that is why I choose Marvinsweb for less downtime and maximum security.

Hope your immediate response regarding this matter.

While I am composing this article, I still don’t know what happened to the lost data. Is it because the Marvin’s Web or Word Press had their maintenance? Will I ever retrieve my old post and their comments? Will this happen again?

I had my last three articles posted again and right now I am really disappointed. So disappointed that I haven’t done anything in the office this morning due to my panic regarding what happened. Then I remembered my comments! As of yesterday I thought that “My First Blog Award” is the fastest-comment-made in all of my articles (haller! Muffie you only got 13 articles), I even bragged it to Ax realm. But it’s all gone.. Gone! Gone!

One minute..

Another one minute..

Went somewhere..

I’m back again and now I’m much more composed (over reacting!).. I just hope that someone will be held responsible to give justice to what happened to my site and an assurance that this will never happen again..
